Tuscan Hall is one of the most charming wedding venues in the Hill Country outside Austin, with a columned garden rotunda shaded by old oak trees and an elegant hall for the reception. We recently had the honor of DJing a wedding there from the first processional to the last dance, and it was one of our favorite nights of the year.
A garden ceremony under the oaks
The couple are huge Taylor Swift fans, so we built the ceremony music around that. The groomsmen and bridal party walked down the aisle to a custom Taylor Swift compilation we mixed for the day. Then came the moment everyone was waiting for: the bride, escorted by her father, walked in to "Enchanted."
It was a warm Texas afternoon, but the setting made up for it. For an open-air ceremony like this, we keep the sound clear and well balanced so every word of the vows carries without overpowering the garden.

The reception and our Silver Lining setup
After the ceremony, guests moved inside, and the room filled with heartfelt toasts. From there we kicked off an amazing grand entrance straight into the couple's special dances.
For this reception we brought our Silver Lining setup: a well-lit disco ball and 360 LED tube lighting that gave the whole room a warm, glowing ambiance, finished with a custom backdrop designed around the couple (pictured at the top of this post). The sound in Tuscan Hall was magnificent. The space carries music beautifully. See every package on our services and pricing page.
A bilingual dance floor
This was a bilingual wedding, so the reception playlist moved between Spanish and English hits all night, keeping every generation of both families on the dance floor. Reading the room and blending both languages is something we love doing, whether it's a wedding or a quinceañera.
Glow up time
To take the party to the next level, Urban Opulence Entertainment brought out our glowing hype man, complete with light-up shoes and an LED hat, and we passed out glow sticks to the whole dance floor. By the end of the night, the room was lit up in every sense.
When the groomsmen can't stop dancing, you know the playlist is working.
A venue debut to remember
This was DJ Lady T's first time performing at Tuscan Hall. The owner loved her performance, and after hearing the feedback from the bride, groom and their guests, added her as a preferred vendor on the spot. We're proud to be part of the Tuscan Hall vendor family.
"You guys did amazing, everyone was on the dance floor the entire time and everything went as planned. You guys went above and beyond."

Planning tips for a Tuscan Hall wedding
Plan for the heat
The garden ceremony is outdoors, so in warmer months consider a later ceremony time and have water ready for guests.
Choose your processional songs early
A custom compilation, like the Taylor Swift mix we made here, makes the walk down the aisle feel personal. Share your favorites with your DJ a few weeks ahead.
Use the move indoors as part of the day
The walk from the garden into the hall is a natural transition. Your DJ can have cocktail hour music playing as guests arrive, then build toward your grand entrance.
Thinking about Chapel Dulcinea?
The famous open-air Chapel Dulcinea is within walking distance of Tuscan Hall. Some couples hold an intimate ceremony there and bring everyone to Tuscan Hall for the reception, and we can provide music for both.
